Jose Reyes “Day-to-Day” with Tendinitis behind Calf

Per Adam Rubin of the NY Daily News reports that Mets doctors took an MRI and disagnosed Jose Reyes with Tendinitis and is Day-to-Day. Jose missed 4 games prior to leaving yesterday’s game.

AOL Fanhouse is also reporting that Mark Derosa has been targeted by the Mets. It will be interesting to see if the Mets pull the trigger while Jose is sidelines.

Reyes likely will not be placed on the DL, so the Mets will once again be playing shorthanded.
