PHILLIPS RIPPING METS ON ESPN

Man, listening to the ESPN Sunday night game, you’d swear that the babyMets fired Steve Phillips. Oh wait, they did. For the second time this year, he is ripping the Mets a new a-hole – even going as far as to argue for over two innings with HOFer Joe Morgan about the lack of a leader on the team and “breaking up the core” via talk radio (Morgan did correct him). When Morgan schooled him regarding Wright, he quickly switched gears to Beltran without taking a breath.

It’s that ego that got him canned from the job, as well as his inability to keep his willy in his paints. Don’t worry Stevie Boy, you’ll get all the girls you want working for ESPN, but don’t look in your email “inbox” for a GM job any time soon!
