Hey Ronnie – Pour Me a DOUBLE!

If you’re a Mets fan (and let’s face it, if you’re visiting here, you more than likely are…), possibly the next few words will sound familiar to you: Gary Cohen, Ron Darling, Mets games and…drinking!  Chances are, we’ve also met over a beer or three over the years…

That said, how would you like to attend an event that combines all three?  How so, you may ask?  Well…the Pitch in for a Good Cause Foundation is hosting an event where you can drink while watching a Mets game on TV, while having Gary and Ron make your drinks!

Yes, on Saturday, May 21, when the Mets are in the Bronx facing the Evil Empire, two of our favorite announcers will be pouring drinks such as the “Mex,” the “Rum Darling,” and the “Blue and Orange” to fans attending the event.  What is included in the event? For a $75 fee, your ticket includes event admission, ballpark food, unlimited soft drinks and a GKR t-shirt (one must wear to event).  You have to pay for your special adult beverage…but is there a price to have a Mets announcer to make it for you?  Surely, there isn’t!

The Pitch In For A Good Cause Foundation is the non-profit organization of New York Mets broadcasters Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling. GKR is using their unique position as television sportscasters to connect with baseball fans while also helping those in need.
