Game 122: Pitcher & Position Player of The Game: 1 Game in Twin Cities

Mets finish an early season snowed-out makeup game to end this horrendously long road trip.

Game 122: Dillon Gee

After the long road trip Mets needed a win and the pen needed a breather. Gee provided both. In one of his most dominant performances of the season (his near complete game loss was more so), Gee went 7.2 innings allowing just 1 unearned run off six walks and nine strikeouts. If not for some sloppy defense in the seventh he probably would have finished the 8th if not the game. Mets would take the makeup game from the Twins 6-1, a rare stress-free win.

Game 122: Juan Lagares

You can make the argument for Marlon Byrd, who scored twice and drove in one, but the pick is Lagares for his play on both sides of the ball. Along with going 2-4 and scoring twice in the Mets 6-1 victory, he also made this spectacular play.
